The current trend in health care is often focused on “assembly line” patient care - patients in and patients out. Here at Alta, we offer high quality care, while maintaining an unmatched level of empathy for our patients, treating the whole person. We aim to be efficient in our management while providing education to our patients and the community.
Dr. Brittani Breaux
Dr. Brittani Breaux grew up in a small town known for its andouille… LaPlace, Louisiana. She attended Loyola University – New Orleans, from which she graduated with honors. Subsequently, she completed her medical training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She completed residency through Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Baton Rouge internal medicine residency program. She then pursued her desire to specialize in endocrinology by completing a fellowship at the Ochsner Health System Endocrinology Fellowship program. Upon completing her training, she began the endocrinology department at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. During that time, she helped to develop the endocrinology and metabolic program. In 2022, Dr. Breaux established Alta Endocrinology Clinic to provide individualized comprehensive endocrinology and metabolic care to each of her patients.
The glands of the endocrine system may be small, but have a huge impact on one’s overall health. Endocrine disorders can contribute to a wide range of issues, and possibly affect other hormones as well. Here at Alta, we aim to establish and maintain an overall balance of one’s endocrine system. Our team believes the best way to support our patients is getting to know them, which will ensure that we are always treating the whole person.
